Octaves And Overtones
The F-Octave's octave-up effect shines with single notes, delivering killer tones that cut through—especially above the 12th fret. Break new ground by using it for heavy chording, creating gnarly random overtones as the octave circuit searches for the root note. Double-stop bends produce a twisted multi-octave sound, with the high octave climbing while a subtle sub-octave slowly drops in pitch. Switch off the octave for a more straightforward fuzz.
Fine Tune Your Fuzz
Take charge of your fuzz with the LPF and TONE knobs, designed to shape your sound and highlight the upper octave. Start with the LPF fully clockwise and the TONE at noon for a balanced foundation. From there, tweak the TONE to emphasize your ideal frequency—counterclockwise for warmer or darker tones, clockwise for a brighter fuzz—and adjust the LPF to smooth out and refine your tone to perfection.
